Chapter 2

1. “Most people do not generally think of communications as a weapon.” (70) HAARP and and military intelligence are able to utilize communications and intelligence as a weapon. Modern warfare will heavily rely on surveillance and “nonlethal” targeting of populations.
2. There are many patents that are focusing on conducting electricity and plasma. These are essential to keep the potential future developments of these operations continuing. Eastlund continuously refers to mirrors and mirror force. They have the ability to employ and transmit over many areas with these electromagnetic waves.
3. “Solar energy is the positive monopole of the magnetic atom that comes to earth as a spiral, another spiral starts from the earth to the sun with a negative pole to close the cycle. The reflection of this energy, combined with the pulse that characterizes it, creates life. Everything animate and inanimate, is marked by its own rhythm.” (63) There are new ways that we are manipulating the world these resources in order to have more control.
Chapter 3
ReplyDeleteThesis: The explanations of chemtrails and contrails are often vague on purpose.
1. “Unstable, energetic, high-velocity particles are being cycled into our atmosphere from the stratosphere and ionosphere, then activated by microwaves for the military industrial agenda, all in the guise if ameliorating ‘climate change.” (87) Our current world is focusing on ‘plasma-izing’ the world. There are more and more stories of chemtrails as the world becomes more and more connected. However, as there are more and more stories of chemtrails coming out, the mass majority of people still are unaware of what is taking place.
2. Chemtrails and contrails are often times not in the news compared to how often climate change and global warming. “Add to the confusion of clouds the media campaign to redefine contrails with terms like ‘persistent contrails and scare the public with ‘global warming’ and ‘climate change’.”(89). The government and the media may be starting us away from these ideas by telling us about climate change scaring us into submission.
3. “Unlike contrails, chemtrails are not inevitable products of modern aviation. Does the Commission know, therefore, what is the purpose of artificially emitting these Earth-derived substances into the Earth's atmosphere.” (108) There are many questions about what actually are chemtrails and whether or not that varies to contrails. The government is and the members in charge of chemtrails are not being open with information and explanations.
Chapter 4
Thesis: There are various different chemicals raining down on us and the effects will be vast.
1. The air that we breathe in our atmosphere is continually being filled with jet fuel, silver iodide, particulates and chemicals from chemtrails. The air is also becoming overly crowded with transmission lines and microwave towers. Many of these issues we consider a necessary evil of modern life that is similar to what we have discussed in risk assessments, without looking at alternative assessment.
2. “One technique proposed to see the metallic particles was to asses the tiny particles to the fuel of jet airlines, so that the particles would be emitted from the jet engine exhaust while the airliner was at its cruising altitude.” (130) Jet fuel is being filled with chemicals and metals and flying over the country in order to get full spectrum dominance. One of the largest side effects and results of this method is global warming. Global warming may just be an effect of not just our actions emitting carbon but also of releasing chemicals and particles into the atmosphere.
3. There are many various chemicals and particles that are being spewed into our atmosphere. The outcomes of these various chemicals varies and many of these affects we do not even completely understand and are unable to predict. “The human price of smart dust and nanoparticles raining down on all biological life has yet to be tallied, but we do not need rocket science not plasma physics to tell us that it will be vast.” (134) This quote speaks to that fact that it does not really even matter at this point what the effects will be because there will be so many different effects and they will be all encompassing. The effects will also last for a very long time.
Question: How can we fund programs that will help us better understand the effects of these poisons and how to mitigate these?
THESIS: Information is not given freely by people in positions of power, and is often convoluted or just plain kept secret.

Secrecy is deeply embedded in all major systems yielding high profits. “Great support is lent to the hypothesis that Tesla’s work and papers were systematically hidden from public view in order to protect the trail of his top-secret work…” (Freeland 63). Our society has come to accept this secrecy, and not question it for the most part. This perpetuates the system.
2. “…we begin to see what a remarkable weapon this technology is, and how far beyond a civilian aurora “research” study it is” (Freeland 70). Technology has become weaponized, and probably has the potential to become weaponized even moreso. Freeland talks a lot about power. Technology control and control of power within the Earth’s atmosphere is a means of power in itself.
3. “Most people do not generally think of communications as a weapon” (Freeland 70). It is easy to think that our government has our best interest in mind, but that it often not the case. Communication itself is a major means of control.
THESIS: Chem trails are being investigated more and more, but there remains a complicity around the topic.
1. Chem trails are being researched and discovered more, but there is still clouded information surrounding the topic. “Unstable, energetic, high-velocity particles are being cycled into our atmosphere from the stratosphere and ionosphere, then activated by microwaves for the military industrial agenda, all in the guise if ameliorating ‘climate change” (Freeland 87). This is something to consider when talking about the atmosphere and the way we currently think of things working. Though science is important, it is also important to consider that we may not have all of the facts.
2. “Since 1998, air traffic controllers (ATCs) at major airports in the U.S. and Canada have been told to divert commercial travel away from “commanded airspace” and warned that “climate experiments” might degrade from their radar displays” (Freeland 89). Freeland claims these artificial chemicals caused an influx of emergency visits due to respiratory problems. This kind of evidence can be difficult to connect in the case of court or any action taken against the government.
3. People do not ask questions nearly as much as they should. “The silence of complicity on this side of the Atlantic ocean, where this blight upon the Earth originated, is deafening” (Freeland 112). This lack of questioning is what allows for systematic secrecy.
THESIS: Toxic chemicals are being imposed on citizens, and it will only get worse.
1. Chem trails have a significant human impact. “The human price of smart dust and nanoparticles raining down on all biological life has yet to be tallied, but we do not need rocket science nor plasma physics to tell us it will be vast” (Freeland 134). Though we may not know the exact impacts yet, there are sure to be significant negative impacts on human health.
2. “The EPA is now banned from conducting life-threatening experiments, but will the injunction have any teeth?” (Freeland 135). It is always worth questioning when a powerful body is ordered to take action if they actually will or not. The fact is, often people in power do not have to abide by the same rules as the public, and usually, it is not questioned.
3. As a nation, we are very heavily focused on war and gaining power. “…but front and center is making of weather engineering an instrument of “full spectrum dominance,” of war” (Freeland 150). The government does not care who is harmed as long as the U.S. is the most powerful nation exponentially.
Question: Why don’t people ask questions?
Chapter 2

The Earths geomagnetic field is strongest when at the magnetic North and South poles. This plays into the effects of solar radiation and solar winds, as it shields the Earth from harmful particle from space.
2. “This means that all living creatures are incredibly vulnerable to the electropollution of powerlines, cell towers, and other frequencies, and that’s not even counting HAARP’s electroncyclotronic resonance heating capability that operates in the lower frequencies” (Freeland, 66). Electropollutionis a very serious issue to worry about, as devices and frequencies surround us in our everyday lives. This can leave to very serious health issues, such as cancers stemming from the constant exposure to radiating materials.
3. “It is therefore not unexpected to find large regional health issues that will correlate with variations in the magnetic field strength of the earth” (Freeland, 67). This reiterates the previous points of health issues stemming from radiation. The magnetic field of the Earth does not help this issue, as it is crucial for the Earth to maintain itself.
Chapter 3
1. “Unstable, energetic, high-velocity particles are being cycled into our atmosphere from the stratosphere and ionosphere, then activated by microwaves for military-industrial agendas, all in the guise of ameliorating “climate change” (Freeland, 87). This statement of what a chemtrail is used for very ignorant and can have disastrous effects if pushed into mainstream beliefs. Climate change is a very real issue that cannot be simply fixed by putting even more things into the sky.
2. “And as for blaming carbons for “global warming,” the real carbon burners are military F-15s, Apache gunships, Abrams tanks, and non-nuclear carriers” (Freeland, 88). While the American military is a massive perpetuator of change in the climate, the American industrial complexes are much more destructive. Military expenditure cannot be solely to blame for the climate crises.
3. “The possibility that the government and its media have not seen fit to tell us that we might be looking at something different should not surprise us” (Freeland, 89). As Americans, conspiracy theories and lies surround us due to our consumption of mass media. We should not expect when something is not exactly what we see, as it often is not.
Chapter 4
ReplyDelete1. “Chemtrails are not a major topic of mine, but it is important to know that though they are real, they are not actually being sprayed anymore per se, they have been mandated as a fuel additive and now all jet aircraft deliver them whether they want to or not” (Freeland, 130). While not explicitly sprayed as chemtrails, they are still being sprayed under a different name. This is a typical tactic of the government, to just rename something that is publicly opposed and continue operating under a different name.
2. “Picture 55-gallon drums filled with liquid chemical brews unloaded from trucks at airports and loaded into jet disposal systems or filling their entire fuselage” (Freeland, 132). The visualization how chemtrail disposing is very poignant and demonstrates how tragic this really is. Nothing should be dumped into the atmosphere, regardless of the purported positive effects it may have on the environment.
3. “Chemical brain injury can occur when the plastic and metal particulates raining down on us couple with the industrial chemicals we are already ingesting and breathing” (Freeland, 137). Chemical brain injury is a serious concern as more and more materials are put into the atmosphere. This does not bode well for the future of the planet if more toxic materials are put in than are taken out.

ReplyDeleteChapter 2: Information is rarely given out in an explicit and detailed way, leaving a lot of room for varying viewpoints and interpretations.
1. “Most people do not generally think of communications as a weapon” (70). Withholding information, giving only selective information, or warping information can all have very large impacts. For example, if some insider information was spread that Russia is going to launch a nuclear missile into California, the US may take dangerous measures just based on hearsay.
2. Eastlund took the measure of patenting HAARP in order to withhold information and accelerate their agenda. This is both a form of information weaponizing and the development of actual physical weapons. It is important to consider the stakeholders when it comes to claiming something as a weapon or not, but, generally, Eastlund has been contributing to many forms of weapons.
3. With the progression of technology and the increase in knowledge of electromagnetic fields and radiation, the manipulation of these factors has been being tested. We also have a better sense of the damage that can occur from the electropollution that comes from human made technology.
Chapter 3: Information on chemtrails is not lacking, but the conversation around it remains confusing and limited which is likely done on purpose.
1. “Unstable, energetic, high-velocity particles are being cycled into our atmosphere from the stratosphere and ionosphere, then activated by microwaves for the military industrial agenda, all in the guise of ameliorating ‘climate change” (87). We usually reference scientific data when we talk about climate change, but there seem to be many other factors that could be involved. This, along with misinformation, makes for a difficult time.
2. “Add to the confusion of clouds the media campaign to redefine contrails with terms like ‘persistent contrails’ and scare the public with ‘global warming’ and ‘climate change’” (89). In another effort to remain vague and prevent people from connecting any ideas, chemtrails and contrails are separate from climate change.
3. “The silence of complicity on this side of the Atlantic ocean, where this blight upon the Earth originated, is deafening” (Freeland 112). A lot of times, we, admittedly, determine an idea and do not want to waver from it, but adapting ideas with new information is crucial in addressing large, global issues.
Chapter 4: Toxic chemicals are already coming into contact with people, and the outlook is not sunny.
1. “It is important to know that though they are real, they are not actually being sprayed anymore per se, they have been mandated as a fuel additive and now all jet aircraft deliver them whether they want to or not” (130). These chemicals are not being sprayed as explicitly as something like pesticides, but the toxins are a required additive to fuel; therefore, these chemicals are being released every day without most of the public being aware of it.
2. “The human price of smart dust and nanoparticles raining down on all biological life has yet to be tallied, but we do not need rocket science not plasma physics to tell us that it will be vast” (134). What is difficult about dust and nanoparticles is that we cannot see them just by looking outside. Convincing people of a concept that they cannot see is extremely difficult.
3. We deserve to know the chemicals that are raining down on us by own own government and operations. This information is intentionally hidden from the general public, and taken out of media.
Question: If some people know about chemtrails, why isn’t there even a small public outcry?
Ch 2→ The United States technologies patented under the HARP project were done so in order to experiment with ionizing the atmosphere through using natural magnetic field lines found within our atmosphere.
ReplyDelete1. HARP uses electron cyclone resonance. Electron cyclone resonance is made possible through the natural magnetic field lines found within our atmosphere, which enable, “electromagnetic ‘highways’, between the upper and lower atmosphere” (Freeland, 65).
2. We know that Earth’s geomagnetic field and biofield are naturally low in frequencies, however long-wave ELF transmissions sent out by HARP boost these naturally low fields to a threshold in which the cyclotronic resonance, “can affect biologically important ions of sodium, calcium, potassium and lithium” (Freeland, 67).
3. Ion charged particle density, which is a result of the functions emitted and undergone through HARP, allows humans the ability to, “deploy different frequencies for different agendas” (Freeland, 68), using the charged electrons in Earth's atmosphere.
Ch 3→ The United States government is responsible for conducting geoengineering experiments without the consent of the public.
1. The word “chemtrails” originated from a military handbook in 1990 for the U.S. Air Force academy. Unlike Chemical trails which can fan out over hours, contrails, “typically form one wingspan behind the aircraft” (Freeman, 89).
2. Project Cloverfeild was actually a joint experiment done by the United States and Canadian militaries. This geoengineering covert experiment began in 1991 in which both militaries participated in stratospheric aerosol geoengineering and solar radiation management in the name of, “homeland security and law enforcement” (Freeman, 95).
3.Furthermore silver iodide is being seeded in clouds, “along the wings of small aircrafts” (Freeman, 95). Silver iodide is not safe for humans, animals, or plants, yet it is still being seeded in clouds by the United States military.
Ch 4→ The particulates used in aerial sprays are dangerous to human and environmental health.
1.In addition to the pollution we routinely inhale, plastic and metal particulates, “raining down on us” (Freeman, 137) can cause chemical brain injury. These particulates, specifically aerosoles, “inhibits the cholinesterase that the brain, liver, and red blood cells need” (Freeman, 137).
2. The bark of dying California trees were found to have high levels of aluminum and titanium, two of the elements being used in cloud seeding.
3.Furthermore aluminum, “strips the body of boron” (Freeman, 143), an element that helps our bodies build, “strong bones, defend the heart, and helps calcium metabolize phosphorus and magnesium” (Freeman, 143).
Question: Is there a way to demonstrate cloud seeding through a small scale model?
Ch. 2: The Earth’s systems are delicate and chemtrails and HAARP are altering these systems in ways we don’t understand.

3. “Thus, this invention provides the ability to put unprecedented amounts of power in the earth’s atmosphere at strategic locations and to maintain the power injection level, particularly if random pulsing is employed, in a manner far more precise and better controlled than heretofore accomplished by the prior art, particularly by the detonation of nuclear devices of various yields at various altitudes” (Freeland, 70). This quote talks to the extreme weight that comes with the use of chemtrails.
Ch.3: Watch the sky.
1. “Today the new cloud-watching entails being able to discern natural clouds from artificial or anthropogenic clouds, plus how the whole weather systems are being manipulated via geoengineering” (Freeland, 88). Clouds and the upper atmosphere look different today than they did back in the 1950’s and we need to know the difference between chemtrails and contrails and normal sky.
2. “Then there is the presence of persisting spray or “condensation” which does not indicate the usual water or ice vapor but rather the presence of particulate matter, perhaps chemicals in the jet fuel and/or what the military terms chaff” (Freeland, 89). The water vapor and other particulates entering the atmosphere are from military and are a big issue.
3. “The silence of complicity on this side of the Atlantic Ocean, where this blight upon the Earth originated, is deafening. It is high time we make a deep study of just how this one-two punch of HAARP-chemtrails works” (Freeland, 112). The issue of chemtrails hits so close to home yet is not discussed.
Ch. 4: This chapter discusses some of the specific types of chemtrail mechanisms.

What this is to say is that any story made up to cover the remarkable impacts of chemtrails cannot result in the amount of plasma that chemtrails produce.
2. “What happens when nanosized endocrine-disrupting chemicals whos propensity is to synergistically interact with the billions of solid an dliquid particulates are suspended in the atmospheric aerosols” (Freeland, 132)? They combine viruses, bacteria, and more with anthropogenic polluters like smog and cement dust.
3. “By mimicking a newborn spider’s “parachute” filament, polymer tufts can lengthen the time and distance of nanoparticulates in the upper atmosphere” (Freeland, 137). They do this by releasing cannisters of synthetic polymers which spin together which nanoparticulates, pathogens and such cling or are encased in.
Question: What is this all for? What is the end goal? What do plastics and particulates sprayed into the atmosphere stand to do?
2: Thesis. Information is valuable so it is often kept hidden or intentionally confusing so it is hard to use.
ReplyDeleteInformation collection is a massive industry that is super valuable. We can just look at companies like Facebook who get most of their money by selling information to get an idea of how important an industry it is.
Governments around the world consider seracy an issue of national security. While there are some good reasons for this it does result in the general public not knowing everything that their government is doing.
The atomic bomb is a great example of this need to know mentality in practice with how great of a job the United States government did at hiding it. Even the president at the time did not know about the details of the project until it was dropped.
3: Thesis. There is lots of information out about Chemtrails but the conversation is still not moving.
The idea of environmental manipulation to try and slow the progress of climate change is not a new one. It was however not followed through with at least officially due to people were worried that their would be less of a concern about cutting carbon emissions.
The number of these trails that are seen has greatly increased over the past several years. Eyewitness state that they never saw such things until more recently. I think it is worth noting that some people never notice them now so it is possible that they just don’t remember seeing them before.
While scientists have not done all that much to look into the issue citizen science is at an alltime high for this issue. People have been tasting the water for different metals after the formation of these clouds. Increased amounts of things like phosphorus and barium have been noted.
4: Thesis. There are lots of chemicals in the air and their effects are not known.
While carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases are considered to be the leading cause of climate change it is difficult to know for sure. Any number of particles and chemicals could be in the air causing effects. The system is so complicated, it is impossible to know for sure what it is.
I think that it is worth noting that people often are not in agreement about what exactly the government is spraying with these chemtrails. For example Barium is sometimes included on the list and in a few cases people say Titanium. There is not a conclusive list of what elements are being used.
Scientists are learning new things all the time finding out about new possibilities for learning more about things that people thought we knew everything about. One of the most common things we learn is that something we thought was safe actually is harmful to both use and the world. We need to know a lot more before we can take such drastic steps as climate alteration.
Question: Should citizen science be considered evidence as it does not go through peer review?

Chapter 3
Thesis: There are proven methods available for groups to manipulate the atmosphere. This includes the potential to disguise their agendas through a climate change hoax.
1) We have already altered the atmosphere. ”Our post industrial, post Atomic Age atmosphere is now being plasmaized, unstable energetic high velocity particles are being cycled into our atmosphere, from the stratosphere, and ionosphere then activated by microwaves for military industrial agendas. All in the guise of a male ameliorating climate change. The Cold War may be over. But the cold warrior mindset is still alive and well” (87). After unintentionally altering the atmosphere, certain agencies grew interested in their future for intentionally altering it.
2) Chemtrails are easily disguiseable as normal emissions coming from jet engines. There is reasonable evidence showing that their trails don't add up to emissions from engines.“From the ground we're accustomed to observing contrails in jets week, the possibility that the government and its media have not seen fit to tell us that we might be looking at something different, should not surprise us. A contrail typically forms one wingspan behind the aircraft, but photographic and video evidence consistently indicates that a very different aerosol trail Chemtrail persistent contrail forums mirror the engines” (89).
3)The methods of geoengineering, are hazardous to human health.“Despite the public acceptance of cloud seeding, silver iodide is highly toxic to plants and air breathers, the Office of Environmental Health and Safety at UC Berkeley rates it as a class C, non soluble inorganic hazardous chemical, as does the EPA Clean Water Act. Humans absorb silver IOD I through nose, lungs, skin and GI tract, after which gi inflammation renal and pulmonary lesions black and blue skin may follow as deep water chemicals, a manufacturer of silver iodide” (95). Despite this hazardous threat, public backlash on cloud seeding is minimal.

1. “The strength of the Earth’s geomagnetic field is actually very low (0.2-0.6 gauss), and the strength of our biofield even lower. This means that all living creatures are incredibly vulnerable to the electropollution of powerlines, cell towers, and other frequencies” (Freeland, 66). This statement is 100% not good news for living creatures and reminds me of something I think I read once about bees and other pollinators being really negatively affected by electropollution.
2. Although our media is at times incredibly biased and secretive, “most people do not generally think of communications as a weapon” (Freeland, 70). However, in our times of corruption, we must be more aware and constantly question what we are being told to believe by our large sources of media, as well as pay attention to who is funding them and what agendas they may be trying to push.
3. Once we start paying more attention and asking more questions “…we begin to see what a remarkable weapon this technology is” (Freeland, 70). After that, it is much easier for us to feel comfortable questioning those in power who rarely offer answers.
Question: How can we work to effectively stop relying on corrupt media sources for our news and information?

Thesis: Our government works harder to cover up things they do than they do to serve the people.
1. “Unstable, energetic, high-velocity particles are being cycled into our atmosphere from the stratosphere and ionosphere, then activated by microwaves for the military-industrial agenda, all in the guise of ameliorating ‘climate change” (87). As much as I want to believe this theory it seems a little bit out there, and statements like this make me even more reluctant. Why is climate change in quotes????
2. “Since 1998, air traffic controllers (ATCs) at major airports in the U.S. and Canada have been told to divert commercial travel away from “commanded airspace” and warned that “climate experiments” might degrade from their radar displays” (Freeland 89). Have none of these ATCs found that suspicious and raised concern? How could a theory this crazy be covered up for so long if it is true?
3. “The silence of complicity on this side of the Atlantic ocean, where this blight upon the Earth originated, is deafening” (Freeland 112). Those who are most silent during times of controversy are usually the ones who should be questioned the most.
Question: How can we be sure that what Freeland writes about and what others discuss is true?
Chapter 4-
1. “It is important to know that though they are real, they are not actually being sprayed anymore per se, they have been mandated as a fuel additive and now all jet aircraft deliver them whether they want to or not” (130). This doesn’t seem like something that could possibly be legal. Are jet aircraft not constantly being checked and tested? How do companies not know about this, or if they know why don’t they care?
2. Like many other experimental initiatives that mess with the planet and natural ecosystems, “the human price of smart dust and nanoparticles raining down on all biological life has yet to be tallied, but we do not need rocket science not plasma physics to tell us that it will be vast” (Freeland, 134). Realistically though, when will we begin to learn that the prices we and our planet must pay are not worth it for whatever human or technological advancement we are striving for?
3. “Chemical brain injury can occur when the plastic and metal particulates raining down on us couple with the industrial chemicals we are already ingesting and breathing” (Freeland, 137). This is something the government should for sure be letting us know is happening if only so we can protect ourselves.
Question: If this is so bad, why are more people not fighting it?
